Combined Sauna Evening & Tasting Event at Kuutio Sauna – welcome to join us!
This year’s campus sauna evening features Turku Distillery, whose products we’ll get to taste at the tasting session starting at 5:30 p.m. The tasting will last about an hour, after which participants are welcome to stay, enjoy the sauna, and spend the evening at Kuutio Sauna. The saunas will be warm until 10 p.m. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.

Turku Distillery’s very own Boose Boss, Tapio Järvenpää, will share how top-quality vodka and liqueurs are crafted – and why producing them in Finland sometimes feels like competing in the “Olympics of Bureaucracy.”
What is it like to run a distillery within the jungle of alcohol legislation?
What oddities does the regulation contain – and how is it still possible to win international awards?
Come listen, taste, and laugh – this is your chance to peek both behind the distillery curtains and to the bottom of the glass.
